When repairing doors with sealing flanges, care should be taken to repair damaged sealing flanges to accurately restore the shape of the original flanges. After repairing the door, the sealing method is to put a piece of cardboard on the sealing position, close the door, and then pull the paper to judge whether the seal is good according to the size of the tension. If the force required to pull the paper is too large, it means that the seal is too tight, which will affect the normal closing of the door, and will also cause the seal to quickly change the seal performance due to excessive deformation. If the force required to pull the paper is too small, it means that the seal is poor, and the door often blocks the wind and rain. When replacing the door, be sure to apply folding glue to the flanging bite of the inner and outer panels of the new door, and block some small process holes left during stamping with basic tape.

When replacing the roof, a layer of conductive sealant should be applied to the pressing area around the roof, and then the crease edge should be applied to the flow trough and seams after welding, which not only helps to seal the body, but also prevents early rust caused by water accumulation at the flanging welds. When assembling the door, a whole sealing and isolation film should be pasted on the inner panel of the door below the window, if there is no formed sealing and isolation film, it can be replaced with ordinary plastic paper, and then the sealing film should be pasted and compacted, and finally the interior panel production and assembly should be carried out.

When replacing the entire body, in addition to completing the above items, a layer of sealant should be applied to the lap part and welding joints of the weld, the thickness of the adhesive layer should be about 1mm, and the adhesive layer should not have defects such as virtual stickiness and bubbles; special hemming glue should be applied at the folded edge; The entire floor lower surface and the lower surface of the front wheel cover should be coated with 3mm-4mm elastic coating and anti-corrosion coating; On the upper surface of the floor and the inner surface of the front stand, sound insulation, heat insulation, and vibration damping film should be pasted, and then the insulation felt block should be laid, and finally carpet or decorative floor should be installed. These measures can not only greatly enhance the sealing of the vehicle and slow down the rust rate of the body, but also greatly improve ride comfort.
